700+ Androst- based and 400+ Estr- based chemicals

Checked out the site Steraloids.com and was blown away that there are almost 1000+ compounds that could potentially be investigated in their role as human pheromones. That is just the Androst- based and Estr- based chemicals, not to mention there are many more of the Chol- based and Pregn-based.

I am almost certain that Androtics used them as the source for their pheromones (putatives and mainstream) in the past and they had about 150 or so potentially tested. Michael focused on the chemicals that had kind of a human smell, think, armpit, groin, feet, bodily fluids etc, so I think the 150 or so must be a pretty good shortlist and no other company seems even close.

Too bad with Michael leaving Androtics years ago, all that knowledge is probably gone. Does anyone besides Michael/Jasmin even know what the Putative designations really stand for? Current mone developers, some of whom were testers for Androtics themselves in the past, would gladly pay a lot of money to find out the real chemical names for atleast some of these putatives.

Sadly, I spent a lot of time discovering the nuances of those putatives as well, but if Androtics folds, all that research will be for naught. Androtics can still make it right by revealing the names of all the TA-coded and P-coded pheromones for the sake of progress of the science of pheromones. The innovation in this field will explode if they did that. But I think they still have a business interest that prevents them from giving a leg-up to competition.

I guess if they continue to release innovative products that soundly beats the competition I wouldn't care but they seem unable to do that for quite some time. Hope they bounce back strong.

I wonder how much knowledge or experience Steraloids has gathered about these chemicals. Sadly all this information is kept quite hush-hush. We need researchers to push this field, without any ulterior business interests, but the funding and interest seems to be lacking.

  1. Essentially all the Androst- stuff is a derivative of testosterone.

I know steroid users report increased sexual attraction during testosterone cycles.

Has a pheromone company just tried to use straight up diluted testosterone oil, dpg and alcohol?

Even better is allowing the testosterone to "cook" on the skin and let it produce some of these compounds.

Is it possible that a few mLs combined with skin bacteria/hair could produce androstenone and all its related chemicals?

  2. I don't know if testosterone is available/legal to be used as a perfume component.

I have considered natural sources of testosterone like semen, and now looking into pine-pollen as it too contains testosterone. It will be interesting to get a clean tincture of pine-pollen and dilute that in cologne and spray on the skin regularly.

I think with this it will be important to not shower/wash using harsh chemicals and let the hormone get absorbed and chowed down by skin bacteria and just let it build-up. I might try this in the near future.

But we need more people trying these kind of things to get to a working approach faster.
