I have noticed that after I have a good day with one of my successful mixes then I become confident in my ability to pick a right mix and become more confident that no matter which mix I try I will get good results. Sadly it turns out that it is not the case.
But the good thing is that it also means that what I saw from my successful mix was not a fluke or placebo as no matter how I try I am not able to will myself in getting the same reactions on the day I try some other experimental mix.
