Ovulation

Carrie: Actually, ovulation occurs approximately 13-14 days before a period starts. If she has a 4-week cycle, and you start counting from the first day of bleeding, day 14 (which might be 9-10 days after she finishes bleeding) is her day of ovulation. If she has a 3-week cycle, she could be ovulating very soon after she finishes bleeding. Some women are horny right before they menstruate, or during their period, but that is not when ovulation happens.
