Masks don't prevent smells and pheromones from getting through. Sure, they may be hindered a bit but the molecules are too small to get stopped. But what has been different for the past year is the availability of social situations with enough people gathered in one spot to have any noticeable reactions from others. In the past year the only venues with people out and about have been limited to grocery stores with restaurants/coffee shops to a lesser extent. People have also been rightfully stressed, anxious, and as a result a bit closed-off but this was to be expected. My old favorites have continued to work well however. I purchased fresh bottles of Nude, Nude Alpha, A1 at the start of the pandemic and every place I frequent the staff working there, especially women, have all started to remember me and treat me as a regular, with great service and professionalism.
